Evangelia Baka holds a PhD in Sciences from the University of Geneva, with a background in applied mathematics and neuroscience. Alongside her scientific education, she holds Bachelor's degrees in Piano Performance and Dance. Her interdisciplinary interests have led her to explore human–AI interaction, virtual reality, and the potential of immersive technologies to connect artistic expression with health and well-being. Her professional experience spans scientific research, digital health, responsible AI, and research and innovation management. She has developed expertise in strategic thinking, multidisciplinary collaboration, communication, partnership development, and funding acquisition. She particularly enjoys bridging different disciplines, translating complex scientific and technical information into actionable solutions, and bringing people with diverse perspectives together to develop meaningful innovations.
